As already became tradition, the "Studenica" Foundation again this school year opened a competition for donation of scholarship to the students in homeland.
The initiators of the Foundation, Mr. Vidak Celovich, Mr. Miroslav Michael Djordjevich and Mr. Boro Vukovich with their families, had in front of them the vision of the first Serbian edifier St. Sava that believed the education of young generations was one of the most important things for the nation's future. In that sense, the founders hope that their yearly donations to a considerable number of students from the homeland that have been receiving this scholarship shall help the ideals the Foundation was created for: love for God, loyalty to truth, justice and fairness, freedom and equality.
This year, the scholarship was given to a group of remarkable young experts from all domains, and the average required for entering amongst the sponsored had not fallen significantly below 10,00 (top mark). Their achievements, published works, visits to foreign Universities really are impressive, and the founders are proud they can help such people that will no later than in the near future mean a lot to their country. As every year, Studenica decided to finance a number of students in poor economic condition as well as a number of those from Kosovo and Metohija.
In this edition, we are enclosing the list of students awarded with scholarship for the school year 2001/2002.
