2005 Monastery Decani - in planning
|
In the summer of 2004, the BLAGO FUND began the work on the archive of the VISOKI DECANI MONASTERY. Situated in Kosovo, it is a masterpiece of Serbian medieval art and at the same time the largest and best preserved medieval monastery in Serbia. The Monastery has survived after the Kosovo war (1998-2000) and the Brotherhood today lives as an isolated Serbian Orthodox island among hostile Kosovo Albanian population.
