The Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that there are no more problems concerning the citizenship's obtaining for the Serbs who live all over the world. In order to do procedure the correct way, the Ministry forms the groups out of the applicants on account of the evidence and data sent. There is a special procedure for each and every case. The necessary data are as follows:

1. The place and date of birth
2. The name of the applicant's parents
3. Parents' citizenship
4. The year of departure to a foreign country
5. If the applicant has ever asked to be released of the Yugoslav citizenship

The procedure generally doesn't take a long time unless the answer under 5 is positive. In that case, the citizenship request takes slower course.
